Twin Town Tunes

Twin Town Tunes

Just a fortnight after our concert in Grange Over Sands on September 17th at 8-00 pm, at the United Reformed Church we will be singing with the Gospelchor of Rinteln, Kendal's Twin Town at St Thomas' Church, Kendal.

Twinning was conceived after the Second World War in 1947, to foster friendship and understanding between different cultures and between former foes as an act of peace and reconciliation, and to encourage trade and tourism.

Please support the principle of Twinning and both choirs by attending, the music will be different and the Gospelchor sing with amazing belief and commitment.

That's life innit? You have five billion posters printed and the line up changes!....not that we weren't warned well in advance, of course!, but it's still the same incredible Internationally acclaimed standard of singing with one new name and face.
Fear not, the design team can keep up, here's the latest poster, the previous leaflets will still be used in parallel with this one (well, they are 84% correct....)
The new line up of The King's Singers includes Patrick Dunachie who is first counter tenor. The photo is by Andy Staples.
It's going to be an amazing concert for us and for our audience, tickets are on sale as I write and we look forward to a sell out and making more than £10,000 (that's me speaking but I know that's totally achievable) for St John's Hospice, a very worthy local charity.
Early days it may be but please make sure it's in your diary or you will miss top class entertainment brought to your doorstep.
